Matthew Mishory

Director Matthew Mishory was named a “rising talent” by Variety and a “poetic filmmaker” whose feature documentary work has established his own “genre of historical narratives” (Film Threat). He brings over a decade of experience in both long-form storytelling and top-tier commercial and brand content to his new agency, Rubber Ring Creative.

As a commercial director, Matthew shot the "Powerful Performance" campaign for TCL, starring NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. It was featured on the 2019 Super Bowl broadcast. He teamed up again with Antetokounmpo for the 2021 “Enjoy More” campaign. Matthew has also directed (in Los Cabos, Mexico) a surf campaign with pro surfer Tia Blanco as well as television and digital spots for brands such as Turkish Airlines, Pfizer, and Icelandic Glacial.

His theatrical and television feature films include Mosolov’s Suitcase (2025), Fioretta (2023), Who Are the Marcuses? (2022), No Place of Exile (2018), Absent (2015), and Joshua Tree, 1951 (2013). Matthew's early short film, Delphinium, about artist Derek Jarman, was selected for the British Film Institute's National Film Archive and presented at the Tate Museum. Matthew splits his time between Los Angeles and New York City. When he's not on set, he can usually be found surfing or collecting jazz and punk rock LPs.

Baruch Pletner
CFO/COO

A seasoned executive and serial entrepreneur, Baruch is the Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Rubber Ring Creative. Having founded his first tech startup in 2002, Baruch has guided a variety of companies through expansion and growth. He has managed engineering teams in aero and defense, semiconductor manufacturing, heavy equipment manufacturing, and renewable energy.

Baruch obtained his MBA degree from Northeastern University and his doctorate in Aerospace Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. He is the published author of many publications in peer-reviewed journals and is the holder of multiple patents. Baruch resides on Prince Edward Island, Canada, with his wife and a Great Pyrenees puppy.

Melinda Awal
Sr. Director of Client Services & Business Development

Melinda Awal brings over 17 years of expertise in operations management, communications, and client relationship development in New York City and the Middle East. Her proven track record leading transformative projects across diverse industries makes her a natural leader in driving client success and business growth for Rubber Ring Creative, an agency poised to innovate and inspire.

Melinda’s professional journey began in marketing and public relations, managing high-profile experiential campaigns for Fortune 100 companies. She went on to work in healthcare administration, leading provider relations and community engagement strategies for organizations such as Humana, and directing large-scale contracting, network development, and implementation initiatives in the Middle East. In her most recent role, Melinda was responsible for cultivating and maintaining high-level relationships with a prominent academic medical group based in New York, ensuring seamless alignment between the group’s brand goals and creative vision.

Yuval Naveh
Staff Producer

Yuval heads RRC’s production team. He previously oversaw the full production cycle for a multi-million-subscriber YouTube channel, where he delivered engaging content and was responsible for optimizing audience engagement and monetization strategies. His professional experience also includes a successful stint as a sales executive.

Yuval is a graduate of the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University. He has produced and directed several award-winning short films, as well as music videos and promotional content.

Thomas Fishwick
Lead Cinematographer, NYC

Thomas Fishwick is an Emmy Award-winning cinematographer with a passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for photography. In addition to his extensive brand work, Thomas’s credits include Taken Together: Who Killed Lyric and Elizabeth?, for HBO Max; The People vs. the Klan, for CNN; Soul of a Nation, for ABC News Studios; Who Are the Marcuses? for Rubber Ring Films, and “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee”, starring Jerry Seinfeld.

Janna Emig
Lead Editor, NYC

Janna is a Brooklyn-based editor who leads RRC’s post-production team in New York. Previously, she worked as an editor and assistant editor on a wide range of commercials, documentaries, and feature-length narrative films including I, Tonya; Apple TV+'s Helpsters; and A24's I Saw the TV Glow.

Yaniv Dabach
Lead Editor, LA

Yaniv leads RRC’s post-production team in Los Angeles. He has edited television series such as American Horror Story (20th Television + FX Network), feature films including Stage Mother (“Best of Fest” winner at the Palm Springs International Film Festival), and many music videos and commercials.

Marcel is an acclaimed portrait and fine art photographer living and working in Los Angeles. His portfolio includes Angelina Jolie, Giancarlo Esposito, Taraji P. Henson, Juliette Binoche, Lance Hendrickson, Michael Bay, Miles Davis, Chick Corea, and Richie Sambora, among others. Marcel works closely with publicists, Hollywood industry clientele, and many brands.
